Gifts of Joy has been owned by Emmie Penney and Otto Goulding since 1993. In 2001 we moved to our present location at 59 Main Street, Pasadena, Newfoundland.
Located in a cozy log building, our Hallmark shop offers a great selection of gifts for all occasions. Some of our product lines include: Bradford Collectibles, Willow Tree Figurines, Newfoundland Mummers, Berry Painted Glassware by JoAnn Goosney, Handknit Mittens by Denise Burton, original art by local artists, Russian Matryoshkas, Jams and Teas from The Dark Tickle, and Pottery Mugs by Brian Banfield. Gifts of Joy offers a "Rewards Card" to our customers. With a minimum purchase of $15.00 the "Rewards Card" is stamped. Your fourth and eighth purchase will be tax free, and when the card is filled after twelve purchases you are rewarded with one in-stock item at a discount of 40%! This 40% discount cannot be used on Bradford or consignment items. We are happy to offer a gift wrapping service to our customers. Any gift purchased at Gifts of Joy can be gift wrapped for a donation of $1.00 to the Bay of Islands SPCA. With the help of our generous customers we have been able to donate more than $1000.00 each year to this worthwhile cause. Each November we move into the spirit of Christmas with our Open House and Annual Christmas Sale. Local guitarist, Lloyd Bartlett is on hand to play Christmas music, we have refreshments and fruit cake, lots of gift draws and a great time.
